Hear Jonty Gorley’s thoughts about Workington Town and injury updates

Jonty Gorley has given his players a break this week after Sunday’s much improved 40-14 home win over Hunslet.

Workington Town have no game this week or next and Gorley says it was always the plan to give them time off this week.

“It will be a chance for a break, time to spend time with families or even have time away.

“That was always going to be the plan, win or lose on Saturday, as it’s been a hard, competitive season.

“We will be back on next week with sessions on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday even though we don’t have a game on the Sunday either,” said the Town coach.

Gorley felt a lot happier with his side’s performance against the Yorkshiremen, which showed what they are capable right when they play to their capabilities.
