The dates have been revealed for the 2027 Keswick Film Festival.
It will run from Thursday March 18 until Sunday March 21.
Organisers said they were committed to building on the success of previous years’ programmes by offering the best in global cinema.
Festival director Julia Vickers said: “I am delighted to be able to announce the dates for next year and the excitement starts now!
“We can’t wait to welcome you to our 2027 edition, which we’re planning to be another inspiring celebration of the best in independent and international cinema.
“Next year will be the 27th year of the festival and over the years we have built a dedicated audience who return each year to what is a friendly and welcoming festival.
“Last year’s festival included world premieres, inspiring guests and award winners amongst the eclectic mix of genres covering comedy, drama, thrillers, documentaries and family films.
“Thank you to all who attended in March. Alongside our dedicated festival supporters, it was fantastic to see so many new faces, contributing to an increase in overall attendance compared with the previous year.
“We really do want to encourage everyone to come along and are committed to putting together a programme with something for everyone.
“A festival doesn’t exist without its audience and our super volunteers are all set to greet you at the North West’s favourite film festival. Please save the dates!”
