
Maryport’s Senhouse Street will be closed for up to five days later this month for resurfacing.
Work is due to start on the road from Monday, July 20.
A road closure will be in place 24 hours a day throughout the duration of the work.
Working hours will be 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
It will last up to five days, subject to site and weather conditions.
A signed diversion route will operate during the scheme.
During the work:
- Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
- On-street parking will be severely restricted during working hours.
- Access for residents and businesses will be maintained where possible, with on-site staff available to provide advice as works progress.
- Scheduled waste collections on Friday July 24 will continue as normal.
- Access for emergency services will be maintained throughout the duration of the work.
