Police are investigating after a South Cumbrian man lost consciousness in a racially aggravated assault.
The incident happened in Barrow Park, Barrow, at around 7.30pm on Sunday July 12.
The victim, a man from Barrow, was attacked with an item which caused him to lose consciousness.
Derogatory terms were used as part of the incident.
Cumbria police are seeking to identify the suspect, who was described as a slim white man in his mid to late teens, with short, dark hair.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing jeans or shorts and no top, and was reported to be on a bicycle.
Officers said the incident was being thoroughly investigated.
