Barrow have sold goalkeeper Wyll Stanway to Cheltenham Town for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old, brother of England Lioness Georgia, joined his home-town club in the summer of 2024 from Chester.
He has gone on to make over 60 appearances for the Bluebirds who were relegated last season.
Ben Winterbottom started in goal for Saturday’s friendly at Holker Street when the Bluebirds came from 2-0 behind at half-time to win 4-3 against Mansfield Town.
Alex Reid had pulled a goal back for the south Cumbrians four minutes into the second half with a fine finish.
Five minutes later they were level when Ben Whitfield volleyed home in style.
There was another good strike on 73 minutes from George Walker to put Barrow ahead but ten minutes from the end the Stags levelled.
The winner came in the 90th minute ahead of three minutes of added time. It started with substitute keeper Killian Barrett and ended with Scott Smith slotting home.
