Workington Town coach Jonty Gorley will be looking for his team to produce their A game on Sunday when they host Keighley Cougars at the Fibrus Community Stadium.
It hasn’t always been shown this season, leaving Gorley frustrated by the lack of consistency.
A lot of what he saw at Sheffield on Sunday was decent but old issues with completion and inviting the opposition on cost them, particularly in the closing stages.
Three late tries pulled the Eagles clear when they were showing some signs of anxiety as Town pulled it back to 22-12 with 15 minutes left.
Town now have six fixtures in which to improve their position in the Championship starting with Keighley (H) this coming Sunday.
The rest of the games are: Newcastle Thunder (H), Aug 2; Midlands Hurricanes (A), Aug 9; Rochdale Hornets (H), Aug 16; Widnes Vikings (A), August 23 and Whitehaven (H), Aug 30.
