A man will appear in court next month after police stopped a car and found £100,000-worth of cocaine.
On Tuesday evening, officers from Cumbria’s Road Crime Team stopped Njazi Altini’s vehicle near Penrith.
A search of the car discovered over 1kg of cocaine, with an estimated street value of around £100,000.
Altini, 37, of Golders Green Road, London, was charged by detectives from Westmorland and Furness’ CID with possession with intent to supply cocaine and was remanded in custody until a court hearing on August 21.
