Workington Reds have added two more young players to the squad as the start of the new season is just over a fortnight away.
Dan Hopper is well known to Reds fans as the son of the late Tony Hopper, and he spent time on loan with the Borough Park club over the second-half of last season.
Young Hopper scored some invaluable goals for Reds in their successful survival battle under Billy Barr.
Simon Rigby hails from Kendal and has spent some time on loan with the Mintcakes during his spell with Carlisle United.
Manager Barr won’t be bringing his squad in tomorrow for training following the cancellation of the Consett game.
Two midweek sessions and two more next week ahead of the Clitheroe friendly on Saturday will be enough.
