
A quad biker was airlifted to hospital after he fell 60ft into a sinkhole in South Cumbria.
Emergency services rescued the man, in a field in Stank, near Barrow, yesterday.
Fire crews from Barrow and Ulverston, mountain rescue, Cumbria police and the North West Ambulance service were involved in the operation.
The man was airlifted to Preston hospital and it is understood he suffered minor injuries.
