[C]umbria Constabulary is appealing for witnesses to an alleged assault which happened in Hammonds Pond, Carlisle during Upperby Gala.
The incident happened at some time between 3.00pm and 3.40pm on 29th May 2017.
A female was struck by another female to the left-hand side of her face whilst walking through Hammonds Pond during Upperby Gala.
Anyone who witnesses the incident or who has information which might assist is urged to call 101 referencing crime number NC1702936 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
