[P]olice have confirmed the incident at Broad Close Barrow in Furness ended in the safe arrest of a 61-year-old man.
Police and the other emergency services were called over concerns for the safety and welfare of a local man.
Officers were called at 7:15pm Monday evening (12th June) to an incident at a property on Broad Close, Barrow.
Part of the road was closed and the public were asked to avoid the area. Some neighbouring properties were evacuated as a precaution whilst the police worked to resolve the incident.
There is no ongoing threat.
