[A]n open event, promoting quality rented housing, will be held in Carlisle later this month.
Organised by Cumbria Choice – a partnership between local housing associations and local councils – it aims to provide information about the scheme and the housing opportunities available.
Cumbria Choice is the largest provider of rented housing in Cumbria. The partnership was established in 2012 and lets high quality, secure and affordable rented housing throughout Cumbria. In the last year over 2,000 homes were let through the scheme.
The partnership is holding events around the county. The events are open to anyone looking for, or considering rented housing. There is also an opportunity to find out about some recent changes to the scheme, as well as to talk to housing staff about needs and requirements and the various housing options that might be available to tenants.
An event will be held in Carlisle on Thursday, 29 June, between 10am and 1pm at the Old Town Hall, in Carlisle city centre.
Anyone registered with Cumbria Choice, or looking for rented housing in the area, is welcome to call in to find out more and talk to staff.
