[A] Carlisle man has appeared from custody to face District Judge Gerald Chalk at the Magistrates Court in the city after an incident at an address on Raven Nook, off Greystone Road, Carlisle
Roger Paul Murphy, 44, gave his address as Mardale Road, Carlisle, he is charged with causing grievous bodily harm on a female in a domestic situation, criminal damage to a mobile phone, and damage to a Cumbria Police laptop computer the three allegations relate to an incident on Friday June 30.
Murphy entered no-plea to the allegation of GBH and to the laptop computer allegation, and a not-guilty plea to the allegation of damage to the mobile phone.
Judge Chalk remanded Murphy into prison custody until his next appearance at Carlisle Crown Court on July 31.
