Work has been completed on a new and improved play area at Talkin Tarn Country Park.
Aimed at children up to 12 years old, the play equipment includes a main feature located in a large sand pit, together with sand play items, a slide and a wooden dinghy.
All equipment is constructed from natural materials and is designed to harmonise with the natural environment of Talkin Tarn.
Each piece of equipment is tactile and uniquely designed to allow children to play according to their abilities and help develop their co-ordination, balance and confidence.
The play area is now open and available to use.
