Appleby Grammar School

[T]ry tennis for free this summer at a Great British Tennis Weekend event. Thousands of free events will be taking place throughout the summer and all across the country, with sessions to suit the whole family.

Annie Weir, Chair of Appleby Tennis Club said, ‘You are welcome to come to Appleby Tennis Club between 2-5pm this Sunday 23rd July. Don’t worry about your standard of play. We are a mixed-ability club and mainly play for fun, along with a bit of running around in the fresh air. We’ll be delighted to see you.’

On Sunday 23rd there will be:

  • The chance to bring out your rusty racquet for a knock-around, or if you’re new to tennis you can use one we will provide
  • Mini-tennis set up so you can have a go with your younger children
  • Refreshments – including CAKE
  • An offer of ½-price family membership for the rest of the season

They play on the courts at Appleby Grammar School.
