[P]olice are investigating incidents that have occurred in the Denton Holme area of Carlisle in the past month.
Police have received reports of the following incidents:
- Called at 2.08am on 26th July following an explosion-type noise where there was attempt to set fire to a gas canister in the area of Holme Terrace.
- Called at 3.50pm on 15th July following paint thrown over the footbridge over the River Caldew between Holme Terrace and Shaddongate.
PCSO Peter Murphy said: “We are aware of a number of incidents of anti-social behaviour in the Denton Holme area as well as an increase in vandalism.
“We are paying particular attention to this area as this effects the quality of life for residents.
“We are working closely with our partner agencies to curb this behaviour. If you have information on these incidents or notice suspicious behaviour please get in touch so we can investigate.”
