Appeal after man robbed in Carlisle nightclub toilets

[P]olice in Carlisle are investigating a robbery that took place in a nightclub toilets.

The offence occurred at The Bronx Bar on Botchergate at approximately 1.30am this morning (1st August).

The victim was approached by three men in the toilets who have demanded money from him.

They then assaulted him before stealing a mobile phone and £70 in cash.

The suspects are:

  • A man wearing a black jumper and jeans.
  • A man wearing bright green shorts and a black t-shirt.
  • A man with dark hair, wearing a blue and white striped t-shirt.

Police have arrested a 31-year-old man from Carlisle on suspicion of robbery. He is currently detained for questioning.

The victim, a 46-year-old man from Stockton-On-Tees, suffered minor injuries.
