[P]olice are investigating a report of a male being assaulted on Botchergate, Carlisle in the early hours of 3 July 2017.
The assault took place at some time between midnight and 2am.
The victim was walking near to Betfred when he was approached by a man who punched him in the face.
The assault left the victim with a black eye and injured fingers.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault. Please contact Cumbria Police on 101 referencing incident number 120 of 11 July 2017.
