[P]OLICE have released new CCTV footage of a 23-year-old man on the morning he went missing from Preston as part of a fresh appeal for information.

Concern is growing for Connor Hegarty after he was last seen around 2.30am on Sunday (August 6) driving a silver Vauxhall Astra in the Tulketh Brow area.

The vehicle was later reported as being involved in a collision near the Railway Bridge on Fylde Road.

Connor can be seen on the CCTV footage walking in the Fleetwood Street/Carleton Street areas shortly after the collision.

He was wearing a white t-shirt and black jeans at the time of his disappearance.

Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Connor and are appealing to anyone who has seen him or has any information to make contact.

DCI Claire McEnery said: “It has been almost a week since Connor went missing and we are getting really worried about him. We are continuing to search for him as we need to make sure that he is okay and we hope that by releasing this footage people will come forward with any new information that could help us find him.

“If anyone has seen him then please contact us as soon as possible. Similarly Connor, if you see this appeal, please get in touch with us or your family so that we can make sure that you are safe.”

Anyone with information on Connor’s whereabouts can contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting log 530 of August 6th.
