[O]n Sunday 6th August a violent incident occurred on the corner of Gladstone Street/Lonsdale Street.
The incident happened at approximately 9pm and involved a number of people.
A road traffic collision occurred at the same time and is believed to be linked to the violence.
A 50-year-old local male was arrested and is currently released under investigation.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and call 101 quoting log number 223 of 6th August.
