[A]t 1:52am today, Monday 2 October firefighters were called to a fire at a detached domestic property on High Hundhowe, Burneside.
Eight fire engines from Cumbria have attended the incident which involved the ground and first floor of the property, measuring approximately 15m by 20m.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “Fire crews, two wearing breathing apparatus, used four compressed air foam system jets, three main jets, two hose reel jets, two 12.5m ladders and height safety equipment.
“The incident is still ongoing.”
