[P]olice are investigating an assault which occurred on Wednesday 4th of October 2017 near to Netherton Post Office, Maryport at approximately 1.45pm.
During the incident the male victim has been grabbed by the throat and threatened by two men. He was uninjured.
The first offender is described as a white man, medium-build with short black hair wearing glasses and a dark-coloured jacket and tracksuit bottoms.
The second offender is described as a white man with a stocky build, clean shaven with short dark hair.
Police are looking for witnesses who may have seen the incident occur and who can help identify the offenders. Contact police referencing incident 126 of 8 Oct 2017.
