[A] Carlisle woman has admitted having a “knuckle duster” in her bra and three charges of assault by beating at the Walkabout club on Botchergate.
Miss Leanne Green, 31, of Charles Street, Carlisle appeared before District Judge Gerald Chalk at the magistrates court.
The court was told that on November 4th the defendant got involved in a confrontation on the dance floor of the club with two-females, she punched hit and slapped both woman to either the head or face in what was described as an unprovoked assault.
A female security guard intervened, Green pulled her by the hair and her head was pulled back.
Green pleaded guilty to three-assaults by beating and possession of an offensive weapon the knuckle duster.

The judge was told Green had picked up the knuckle duster from the toilets and hid it in her bra, this was only found after she was arrested while at the police station.
She has been having some personal problems the court was told and that was why she hid the knuckle duster in her bra for her own protection.
For the three assaults and possession of the offensive weapon she was given a custodial sentence of 60-days suspended for one-year, she has to pay £125 in compensation to each of the three-victims, she will also serve a house curfew which will be electronically tagged between 8pm and 6am for 8-weeks, and court costs of £85 have to be paid. The knuckle duster will be forfeited and destroyed.
