[W]orkington Town Council is putting on free family events under The Hub on the last two remaining Saturdays before Christmas.

Saturday 16th December – Luke’s Honest Magic Show
Luke’s Honest Magic is a rapid fire street magic show guaranteed to amuse, bemuse and confuse. Performed by Luke Robson and jam packed full of historic magic effects perfect for brightening up any cold December day.
Luke has performed magic all around the country including at the world famous Edinburgh Festival. Honest Magic features many of Luke’s favourite classic routines including the world’s oldest trick, the cups and balls, where seeing is believing.
Saturday 23rd December – Fairly Famous Family
Join Hugh Fearn and Lee Whittingstall at their Christmas kitchen booth and watch them prepare ridiculous and funny dishes. Including, one hundred and two ‘imaginative’ uses for leftovers, the recipe for the perfect sprout smoothie and how to get the kids to do the washing up! All while playing festive music.
Pop down to The Hub from 1-3pm and get involved in these performances, which are made even better by audience interaction!
Both events will take place from 1-3pm under The Hub in Workington Town Centre.
