Fresh flavours, local sounds and a community vibe – a Cumbrian town is preparing to host a day of food, music and family entertainment designed to support local businesses.
The Street Food Saturday event will take place in Penrith this Saturday, July 25.
Live music will be provided throughout the day by Blue Jam Street Beats and John Bowie.
Free face painting will also be available, provided by Artifaces.
A variety of food vendors will be present, including Just Greek serving authentic favourites and The Chippie Van.
Gourmet hot dogs and loaded fries will be offered by Dusty Dogs, while sweet options will include homemade cookies and traybakes from SteffcBakes.
Dipheads will provide chocolate covered strawberries and waffles on a stick.
Drinks will be served by Caffeine Rush, offering fresh coffee, tea and other refreshments.
The Hallo Dandy will also pour draught lager, IPA, frozen cocktails and mocktails.
The event will also feature a community information tent run by Westmorland and Furness Council.
Representatives from the authority will provide the public with details about adult education opportunities and a new Local Plan Scoping Consultation.
The event will run from 11am to 5pm in Great Dockray car park.
