Players Needed For All My Sons

[P]enrith Players are staging Arthur Miller’s play, All My Sons in late April and are looking for eight actors for a variety of roles.

Director Ian Baker says “It’s Miller’s first successful play, a drama of a family at a critical turning point, set in the 1940’s. There are some great acting
opportunities, and for a variety of ages ranging from the parents, Joe and Kate Kellar, some middle aged neighbours and several people in their late
20’s/early 30’s. It’s a serious play but we have fun rehearsing and it’s a good team spirit here at the Players.”

The rehearsal period is March and April with performances on four nights on April 25-28.

There is a read-through on Tuesday 23 January 7pm to which everyone is welcome, whether seeking a part or just curious. This is followed by a casting evening on Monday 29 January. Both are held at the Penrith Playhouse behind Morrison’s and the Agricultural Hotel.

Ian adds: “We also always need people for our production support – sound and lighting help, building the set, behind the scenes and so on. If you might like to be involved with this play or others then come along or do get in touch with us.”

The Players can be contacted by email [email protected] or through their Facebook page.
