[C]umbria Police have charged a 25-year-old man in connection with multiple sex offences against two women.
Lee Savage, of Skiddaw View, Penrith, has today (21st January 2018) been charged in connection with the following offences:
Two counts of rape of a woman over 18, one count of sexual assault by penetration, one count of sexual assault and a section 47 assault – ABH, the incidents occurred between 2014 and 2016.
Two counts of rape of a woman over 18, four counts of sexual assault, two counts sexual assault by penetration and one count of false imprisonment, these incidents occurred on the 8th January 2018.
The victims are being supported by specialist officers.
Mr Savage has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Carlisle Magistrates Court on Monday 22nd January 2018.
