[A]t 12:18pm on Sunday 18 February firefighters from Carlisle West and Longtown attended reports of a building fire in Hethersgill.
Upon arrival firefighters found that the fire involved the roof of the building which was well alight.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “The crews used two hose reel jets, two breathing apparatus and various hand tools to extinguish the fire.
“The crews were in attendance for approximately one hour 45 minutes.”
At 12:18pm on Sunday 18 February two fire engines from Carlisle West and Carlisle East attended reports of a building fire on Corby Castle Road, Great Corby.
On arrival crews found that the chimney was well alight.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “The team used chimney rods, chimney gear and a hearth kit to extinguish the fire from the hearth.
“Crews were in attendance for approximately 55 minutes.”
