Enquiries are being carried out following reports of a teenage boy shooting a seagull with a catapult in Carlisle.
Cumbria Police were called at 10.36pm yesterday, Tuesday July 7, to the reports and enquiries remain ongoing.
Carlisle neighbourhood policing team said they are aware of a video circulating online relating to the incident.
They are strongly encouraging people not to share or speculate on unverified information.
