Police probe Barrow burglaries

[P]olice are investigating a burglary at The Family Practice Centre on Hartington Street, Barrow.

Offenders have gained entry by smashing a rear window between 6.30pm on 7th March and 7.45am on 8th March.

Whilst inside the surgery the offenders have opened drawers in search of items and have removed a small black cash tin which contained numerous spare keys to cabinets and offices within the surgery.

Anyone with any information is asked to email [email protected] or call 101 and ask to speak to PC 2017 Dave Edwards, quoting incident number 47 of the 8th March. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.


Police are also investigating a burglary at the Roose Conservative Club in Barrow.

The burglary occurred at some point between midnight on 7th March 2018 and 8am hours on 8th March 2018. Police are seeking anyone with information regarding the above incident.

Police would like to take the time to remind everyone to keep their properties secure and any valuables out of sight.

Anyone with any information is asked to email [email protected] or call 101 and ask to speak to PC 2561 Mallinson, quoting incident number 43 of the 8th March. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
