Copeland Council Easter opening hours and waste collections

[C]OPELAND Borough Council offices (including Market Hall) will be closed from 5pm on Thursday, March 29, until 9am on Tuesday, April 3.

The Millom office will close at 3pm on March 29 and will remain closed until 9am on April 3.

The Distington Hall Crematorium office will close at 4.30pm on March 29 and will reopen on April 3. The Chapel of Remembrance is open from 9am until 4.30pm every day throughout the Easter period.

All household waste and recycling collections will continue as normal on Good Friday (March 30).

There will be no waste or recycling collections on Easter Monday (April 2) and all collections will be one day later than usual that week.

There will be no markets held in Egremont or Cleator Moor on Good Friday.

The Beacon Museum will be open from 10am until 4.30pm every day during Easter weekend (March 30 – April 2).

The out-of-hours emergency number for issues relating to dangerous structures, homelessness, flooding response, and sandbag requests for residential properties is 01946 598300.
