Clockwise: Pygmy goats, feeding the new arrivals, playful piglets and baby alpacas

[T]he Lake District Wildlife Park near Keswick, has plenty to celebrate this Easter with the much-anticipated arrival of cute pygmy goats, cuddly baby alpacas, cheeky baby Anglo Nubian goats and not forgetting a pen full of playful piglets.

The keepers at the Park have been helping the new arrivals to settle in.

The adorable additions have arrived just in time to add to the planned Easter activities including a chocolate Easter egg hunt around the park and cuddles with the Easter bunnies and guinea pigs. Events are taking place every day from now until Saturday 14th April to keep the whole family entertained.  Don’t miss the opportunity to grab a bite to eat in the newly refurbished café serving locally source, home cooked food.

Park Manager, Richard Robinson, says, “We are absolutely delighted that our new arrivals have joined us in time for the Easter break and look forward to introducing them to our visitors over the next couple of weeks. There is always a fantastic atmosphere this time of year and this year there is even more of a reason to call by and say hello.”
