[D]etectives in South Cumbria CID are continuing to investigate a report of sexual assault against a 28-year-old local man.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday 10th June 2018 at the rear of Scott Street.
From enquiries it has been established that, prior to the incident, the victim was involved in a conversation with a male and female in the same back street.
Due to lighting at the location there is limited description of the couple other than being described as a similar age to the victim. Police would like to hear from this couple.
