[C]FM presenter Andy Gregory was left red-faced after promising he would run down Botchergate in Carlisle wearing nothing more than boxer shorts.
Andy said: “I ran a poll asking listeners which Love Island contestant they’d most like to date. I was so confident nobody would vote for Alex that I announced on air that I’d run down Botchergate in boxer shorts if he was most popular.”
Sure enough, Alex topped the poll which resulted in hundreds of listeners calling Andy’s show telling him he couldn’t back out. Andy fulfilled his promise on Friday afternoon and described the almost naked jog as “one of the most nerve-wracking things he’s ever done”.
