The volunteers who are running the shop

[A] new Hospice at Home Pop Up Shop opened in Wigton on Thursday 14th June – for two weeks only!

Volunteers from the Wigton area have created and gathered a treasure trove of shabby chic items and home accessories which will be on sale at 27 High Street, the former premises of Granville’s, until Thursday 28th June.

Cath Coates, Fundraiser for Hospice at Home, said “We warmly welcome members of the community to come and have a browse of the goods on display. This is an ideal opportunity to pick up something new for your home, or perhaps a gift for someone special, whilst helping a vital local charity.

All proceeds from this exciting venture will enable local patients to receive care and support at home from our dedicated Clinical Team, following the diagnosis of a life limiting or life threatening illness. Please share the word amongst friends and please call in to take a look at the goods on offer!”

This is the 5th Pop Up Shop of its kind to take place in Wigton and to date over £10,000 has been raised for Hospice at Home.

The Shop will be open from 10am – 4pm each day (except Sunday). For more information about the Shop please contact Edna Graham, Hospice at Home Wigton Area Volunteer on 016973 26644. For more information about Hospice at Home please visit www.hospiceathome.co.uk.
