[P]ublic meetings are being held in Appleby, Kirkby Stephen and Sedbergh by the Multi Agency Strategic Co-ordinating Group (MASCG) for Appleby Fair, to gain public feedback about the operational planning for this year’s Fair.
Appleby Fair is not an ‘organised’ event run or licensed by one organisation or individual. Under the banner of MASCG – public agencies, the RSPCA and Gypsy and Traveller representatives work with Town and Parish Councils to discuss and co-ordinate activities to help make the Fair as safe as possible for everyone concerned. MASCG does not own or run the Fair.
The public meetings will be attend by MASCG representatives and are an opportunity to discuss and review the operational planning for this year’s Fair.
The meetings are taking place at the following locations:
- Sedbergh – 5pm-7pm on Monday 25 June 2018 at the People’s Hall
- Kirkby Stephen 7pm-9pm on Tuesday 26 June 2018 at the Grammar School
- Appleby 7pm-9pm on Monday 16 July 2018 at the Public Hall
