[P]OLICE are investigating reports of an assault which has taken place on John Street in Maryport at approximately midday on 27th June.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “The victim, a woman in her 40s, has been in a convertible vehicle with the roof down when another woman has approached and hit her to the head causing minor injuries.”
