The RWP team

[J]igsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice are proud to announce an exciting, new charity of the year partnership with RWP Training.

Over the coming 12 months employees from the Carlisle based company are aiming to raise lots of money and awareness to support the local charity. The staff are hoping to organise a number of their own fundraising events, as well as taking part in events organised by the children’s hospice.

Nina Dixon, Director at RWP, said “We are delighted to support Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice over the next 12 months. We will be engaging with our apprentices and employers to help us raise money for this truly amazing charity that we feel encapsulates our values and beliefs as an organisation, putting children and young people at the heart of everything we do.”

Natalie Bingham, Corporate Relationship Co-ordinator at Jigsaw, says ‘’We are over the moon that RWP Training have chosen to support Jigsaw in 2018. It currently costs £2,126.46 to pay for a day’s care in Jigsaw, so support from the business community is vital. We are excited for the year ahead and look forward to working closely alongside the team at RWP.’’

The money raised during the charity of the year partnership will allow Jigsaw to provide unique care and support to children and young adults with life limiting illnesses. Jigsaw’s dedicated team of trained and highly skilled nurses, health care assistants and activity co-ordinators provide the individualised, complex nursing and therapeutic support each child and young adult needs.

If you, your place of work or community group would like to support Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice please contact the Fundraising Team on 01228 817613 or visit www.jigsawhospice.org
