Newton Rigg

[N]ewton Rigg College, part of Askham Bryan College, is situated on the edge of the Lake District and within walking distance of the market town of Penrith.

Proud to be part of the fastest growing land-based College group in the country, their range of existing courses, great teaching and fantastic facilities will help you work towards your dream career.

Offering courses in the land-based sector (agriculture, gamekeeping, animal and equine management, forestry, horticulture and agricultural engineering), they also offer general Further Education courses as well (uniformed public services, sport, outdoor adventure, hairdressing and beauty therapy, childhood studies and health and social care).

Starting a course in September or want to try one out?

Go and spend the day with their Outdoor Adventure, Sport, Uniformed Public Services, Agriculture and Forestry teams on Tuesday 21st August 10am – 3pm. Experience their great facilities first hand and get a real taste of being a student at Newton Rigg College.
