[A]t 8:14pm yesterday, Tuesday 7 August firefighters were called to a fire in a field near the entrance to Dalston Hall Holiday Park and Golf Club in Dalston, Carlisle.
On arrival the crew from Carlisle West Fire Station discovered a large quantity of straw alight.
The fire measured approximately five metres by 10 metres.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Spokesman said: “Firefighters used a hose reel jet and a drag rake to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for more than half-an-hour.”
