POLICE were called to an address in Sunnymeade, Carlisle at around 6pm today (22 Aug) following a report of a man inside an address behaving in a threatening manner.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Officers attended and a 57-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of threats to kill.
“He is currently in police custody.
“Nobody was injured during the incident.
“Firearms officers attended as a precaution. However, there were no perceived threats to the wider public and the incident was resolved swiftly.”
