At 7:08pm, yesterday Thursday 6 September police and fire crews from Penrith responded to two stray horses on Croft Terrace.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Crews used their specialist training for large animal rescue to safely secure the horses in a safe area.”
