Police are investigating an offence of sexual touching which allegedly occurred in Rickerby Park , Carlisle on Saturday 29th September at approximately 5:30pm.

Police are seeking any information. They are particularly keen to speak with dog walkers near to the Brampton Road side of the park who may have seen or spoken to a 15-year-old girl who spoke to them about their dogs.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The girl had long blonde hair in a ponytail and was wearing leggings, crop top and a white tracksuit top. A boy of a similar age may have been with her or in the same area and was dressed all in black.

“Officers investigating this incident arrested a 14-year-old boy. He has been released under investigation.”

Any witnesses are encouraged to contact police quoting log number 204 of 29th September 2018.
