A man has appeared in court after he was seen driving a car with a female on the car’s bonnet.
Magistrates in Carlisle were told how on the evening of May 7, Johnny Ian Macaulay Noble, 22, was seen driving a red Seat Ibiza car in the Booths supermarket car park on Brunswick Road, Penrith.
John Moran prosecuting told the court how Noble was seen driving the car while a female seated on the bonnet of the car with her back towards the windscreen, he was then seen to drive fast and braked sharply causing the female to slid off the car’s bonnet.
Noble of Grove Court, Penrith, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving when he appeared at the Rickergate Court House, the court was told this was an unusual case with the driver, driving dangerously in a car park with no thought about the safety of others.
Magistrates imposed an interim-driving-disqualification, they sent the case to Carlisle Crown Court for sentencing, this should take place on November 9, he was granted unconditional bail until then.
