Cumbria Police is appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in Barrow.
At around 8.30pm last night (9 Oct), a man entered Bargain Booze in Settle Street and threatened a member of staff before leaving empty-handed.
The Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area of Settle Street and Bedford Street around that time.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Officers are looking to trace two men – one dressed in black bottoms and a black coat and another who remained outside the store during the incident.
“Both men then left the area in a black-coloured motor vehicle.”
