Penrith Mayor, Cllr. Scott Jackson, wants to engage with local people about issues they think are important for the local community or that affect the town!
If you would like to talk to the Mayor about concerns, offer suggestions or discuss the things you think are either negative or positive about what’s happening in the town, please come along to his ‘Meet the Mayor’ session on Saturday 3rd November between 10.00am-12 noon. The session will be held at the Town Council Office, Unit 1 Church House, 19-24 Friargate, Penrith, Cumbria.CA11 7XR.
The Mayor believes strongly that your views are important and face-to-face ‘conversations’ like this will help to inform him and the Town Council, and support overall effectiveness.
The intention is to hold ‘open door’ ‘Meet the Mayor’ surgeries on the first Saturday of each month, as listed below:
