Police are appealing for information after an incident in which a 12-year-old girl was bitten by a German Shepherd type dog whilst playing in the woods near Broughton Moor.
The incident occurred at approximately 3pm on Wednesday 24th October.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The people in charge of the dog were also with another German Shepherd type dogs and a pup.
“They are described as a woman in her late 40’s of large build with short grey hair. The man is described as bald and thinly built, wearing a blue stripy coat.”
