The A686 at Langwathby remains closed after a HGV struck a railway bridge and overturned.
The incident happened at around 6.35am on Wednesday, July 1 near the railway station.
A HGV was the only vehicle involved and overturned.
The road remains closed today, Thursday July 2.
Traffic is said to be coping well.
