Oak Tree Animals’ Charity, Wetheral, ran it’s second Fright Night to raise money for animals. Over 65 visitors were invited to enter Blackburn Woods and join the “Quest for Charlie” avoiding the spooky characters that dwelled within! Over £600 was raised to help animals in need and everyone had a spook-tastic time.

Sarah Batty Fundraising and Communications Manager at Oak Tree said: “Fright Night is one of our favourite events at Oak Tree where visitors, volunteers and staff let their imagination run riot and raise money for animals.

“This year saw our spooky tours sell out really quickly and visitors were led by Jamie the Demon and Fangula meeting a huge range of characters including Chris the Clown, Horrendous Harry, Mystic Meg, the witches, the gruesome twins and the rocking woman. We are delighted that such a fun event can raise over £600 to help animals.”
