COPELAND Council is offering free parking to support the Egremont Winter Wonderland event on Sunday.
Motorists can park for free all day at the council’s Chapel Street and Beck Green car parks.
The festive event, organised by the Egremont Amenity Committee, begins at 1pm and features entertainment, stalls and culminates in a firework display.
Mike Starkie, Mayor of Copeland, said: “We are delighted to support this event by offering free parking in our car parks.
“The organisers deserve tremendous credit for raising funds and hosting this event for the local community.”
